This position will support the robotics team in the design, integration, programming, and servicing of robotic systems for our customers.

Job duties:

  • Work closely with the robotics team on the front end to qualify opportunities.
  • Work closely with the design team to provide solutions to customers.
  • Program and integrate robotic systems per customer specifications.
  • Support the quoting and securing of projects, as needed.
  • Attend customer meetings as needed.
  • Responsible for robotics (FANUC) programming and development, including identifying potential scope changes and/or problem areas.
  • Responsible for assisting in PLC, HMI, and PC programming and development, including identifying potential scope changes and/or problem areas.
  • Assist the controls team in design as needed
  • Provide onsite installation advisement and start-up.  Commissioning services on the job site.
  • Advise robotics team on design functionality and applicability of FANUC robots.
  • Ensure deadlines are met with minimal rework.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical school plus experience
  • PLC programming experience a plus
  • FANUC robotics training preferred
  • Familiar with both PLC hardware and software; Ability to troubleshoot PLC programming
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC Programming.
  • AutoCAD and RoboGuide experience is a plus
  • Safety-oriented attitude required
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to operate diagnostic software.
  • Experience with electrical system installation is preferred
  • Experience with mechanical system installation is preferred

RMH Systems, one of the largest material handling, packaging, robotics, and industrial scale integrators in the Midwest, is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Controls Engineer. Some travel required, 25%-50%.
We are looking for an outgoing individual with a strong systems background to work with our sales & engineering teams to design and integrate controls for customer projects. This person’s responsibilities include designing, integrating, PLC and HMI programming, and onsite installation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical school plus experience
  • 3-5 years of PLC programming capability required. (Studio 5000, RS Logix 500)
  • Familiar with both PLC hardware and software
  • Experience programming Ladder Logic and HMIs
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI Programming (FactoryTalk View, plus if you know Ignition)
  • AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor experience is a plus

RMH Systems, one of the largest material handling, packaging, robotics, and industrial scale integrators in the Midwest, is currently seeking a well-organized and self-motivated Inside Sales Representative to support our sales operations.

The primary objective for this role is to help support our sales team, and grow our business.

This role is a combination of customer support, sales support, project coordination, order quoting, and order entry. Our inside team works hard to make sure our projects are organized, and that our sales/engineering teams have what they need to be successful. Our inside team is the first contact point for our customer base. This individual needs to be organized, detail oriented, positive, and reliable. This individual is responsible for order entry, order quoting, and aftermarket follow-up.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Enter orders on a daily basis as provided by outside sales team
  • Customer service – answering phone calls, making aftermarket service phone calls, following up on orders, managing freight, etc.
  • Act as liaison between customers and company sales and parts departments. Coordinate customer functions with other departments to assure timely delivery and installation.
  • Manage smaller equipment & parts quotes and ordering
  • Provide project coordination on larger projects to assist in organizing details with large system orders.
  • Maintain a high level of communications with other departments to stay abreast of pricing, equipment updates, specials, etc.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes and proposals in concert with other interested departments.
  • Maintain the customer contact file with monthly updates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 year associates degree and similar experience in inside sales, or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Strong computer and typing skills with ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills & self-starter
  • Mechanical ability or industry experience a plus
