Customer Service Associate

Waukee, IA

RMH Systems, a 100+ year old Sales & Service company, has an immediate need for a well-organized and self-motivated individual to join our administrative team. We are progressive, growing, and employee-friendly. Due to our continual growth, we need someone with strong attention to detail, good oral and written use of the English language, and a clear, polite, and helpful personality when dealing with our customers and staff.

This position is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm and requires solid people skills and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Daily order entry
  • Customer invoicing & costing
  • Coordinate stock orders between customers and our warehouse personnel
  • Provide navigation between vendors and customers on drop ship orders
  • Customer service – answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries
  • Order confirmation matching, checking status of existing orders
  • Act as liaison between customers and company sales and parts departments
  • Maintain a high level of communication with other departments
  • Assist with quote preparations when needed
  • Backup other inside team members when needed
  • Maintain customer files (electronic and paper)
  • Coordinate vendor literature to ensure adequate supply is avail to meet customer & sales team needs
  • Other misc duties

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least a 2 year assoc degree or similar experience in customer service, inside sales, or accounting
  • Strong computer & typing skills with ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills & self-starter attitude

Material Handling Technician

Waukee, IA – Bellevue, NE  – Plymouth, MN

RMH Systems, one of the largest material handling, packaging and industrial scale distributors in the Midwest, is currently seeking service technicians to join our team.  We sell a lot of equipment and equipment systems, and we have a growing service team that helps take care of our customers.  Our service team performs periodic, annual, operational, and emergency repair to our customer base.

This position is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm and requires solid people skills and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  We need someone with a strong mechanical background, and strong attention to detail.  Additionally, we need a self-starter with a helpful personality when interacting with our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Operational maintenance on conveyor, cranes, lift tables, etc at our customer sites
  2. Emergency repair to malfunctioning equipment at customer site
  3. Minor equipment installations
  4. Load testing for cranes & hoists
  5. Annual inspections programs for hoist & crane customers
  6. Working with inside sales team to build service business within our markets
  7. 1 on 1 customer interaction – representing the company well in front of the customer
  8. Working with inside sales to order replacement parts

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years in field service or similar role with responsibility
  2. Strong Mechanical experience; electrical experience preferred
  3. Clean driving record
  4. Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
  5. Strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word
  6. Ability to be a proactive part the Sales Engineering Team

Packaging Technician
